James has written a number of books on the subjects of health and fitness. But he has found his biggest success with his Sunday Times bestseller ‘What A Flanker’ memoir, which has been a runaway hit since its launch in both hardback and audiobook form. What A Flanker is an epic journey of short stories from James rugby career around the world. It was described as ’the funniest sports biography you’ll read in 2020’.
Following on from his success with ‘What A Flanker‘, James has just released his fifth book, entitled ‘Ruck Me‘. which was another smash hit and pushed the boundaries set by its predecessor, prepared to be shocked and amused by more tales from James’ life
James’ first book, Rugby Fit (2015), was a guide to help young players understand the needs and requirements of being a professional rugby player. The book features training sessions, nutritional ideas and specialist tips.
His second book, Perfect Fit (2018), was published by Hodder & Staunton. It is a comprehensive training bible packed with home and gym workouts, as well as nutritional plans for fat loss and muscle gain, over 70 recipes, and 8-week and 12-week transformation plans.
Approach without caution is james latest book which comes out Jan 2023. Its Revolutionary and revealing, Approach With(out) Caution sees James Haskell moving firmly into the ‘personal growth’ space. Cooking For Fitness (2018) saw James collborate with leading sports chef Omar Mezziane, best known as head chef to the England football team. It contained over 120 recipes designed for fat loss and muscle gain.
